Introduction to Top Gun: Maverick Amazon Prime Video Movie Review

 

Just so you know, Top Gun: Maverick can be watched on Amazon Prime Video – but at a price. In other words it is not free to watch Top Gun: Maverick. This movie may also be streaming at a cost on other services as well.

 

The above being said, if you are curious if Top Gun:Maverick, starring Tom Cruise as CAPT Pete “Maverick” Mitchell was worth all the hype it received a few months back, you may want to check out my movie review.

 

I previously watched the original Top Gun movie a few weeks back to refresh myself on the story. However, it’s not necessary for you to to do so, unless you prefer to. During the movie, there are plenty of flashback scenes to bring you up to date with the storyline of Top Gun: Maverick.

 

Was Top Gun: Maverick worth my money and time to watch on Amazon Prime Video? More importanty, should you watch it?

Plot of Top Gun: Maverick Amazon Prime Video Movie

 

The plot of Top Gun: Maverick revolves around the main character, Tom Cruise as Maverick, as he continues to show off his flying skills displayed in the first Top Gun film. During this storyline, he is recruited initially not to actually fly a plane – but to teach other up and coming pilots. 

 

Specifically, the group is planning to execute a dangerous mission to destroy enemy targets that involves flying between two narrow mountain ranges, dropping bombs, and quckly exiting out of the bombs' explosive targeted areas.

 

The majority of the film shows Tom Cruise’s character teaching – not from the books, but from his own experience as an elite fighter pilot. By the way, it just so happens that one of his students for this mission is his departed best friend’s Goose’s son, (Miles Teller as Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw) who is now also a fighter pilot.

 

As expected, there was some animosity between the two, especially on Miles Teller's character's side since he blamed Tom Cruise’s character for his father’s demise. As the storyline progresses, there is not only a change of heart from Miles Teller’s character but there is a redemption action done byTom Cruise's character that ultimately saves Goose’s son.

 

Action in Top Gun: Maverick Amazon Prime Video Movie

 

As with most of Tom Cruise's films, you can expect plenty of action. The same holds true for Top Gun: Maverick. The action mostly involves flight combat. In fact during his teachings to the group, Tom Cruise broke from the classroom environment and actually flew and maneuvered a plane to demonstrate how the mission could be completed without a hitch.

 

Realism in Top Gun: Maverick Amazon Prime Video Movie

 

Tom Cruise character’s romantic interest from the previous Top Gun film seemed to have just disappeared. If you saw the first Top Gun movie starring Kelly McGillis as Charlotte "Charlie” Blackwood alongside Tom Cruise, you may recall that a large part of the film dealt with their relationship in that she was a flight instructor while Tom Cruise's character considered himself one of the best fighter pilots in her class.

 

To tie the two movies together, I think it would have been worthwhile for the storyline to show a flashback with maybe her character deciding to take a job overseas years back which could have at least shown how their relationship ended as well as why she is not in the current Top Gun: Maverick movie.

 

Instead the gist of the Top Gun: Maverick movie concentrated on Goose’s son, Miles Teller’s and Tom Cruise’s characters' relationship. This is not a problem, but it seemed like there was something missing from the second film, Top Gun: Maverick.

 

The above being said, the omission of the whereabouts of Kelly McGillis' character did not take away from the drama as well as the action in the movie, Top Gun: Maverick.

 

 

 

Movie Magic in Top Gun: Maverick Amazon Prime Video Movie

 

In my opinion, the complete movie is predictable – but predictable in a good way. For example, you know that Tom Cruise will demonstrate impressive skills at flying and will perform dangerous feats. 

 

Spoiler Alert: In my opinion, the saving grace of the Top Gun: Maverick movie is the ending where through movie magic, Tom Cruise survives a plane crash in enemy territory and ends up in the same location as Miles Teller’s character -- who also crashed landed.

 

It was interesting to me and also due to movie magic of course, that they happened to find the same type of plane that Tom Cruise’s character piloted in the first movie, Top Gun. Believe it or not, the vintage plane was flyable. I think it was a creative move on the part of the writer to tie in a similar plane used in the older Top Gun storyline movie to the current film -- Top Gun: Maverick.

 

Assessment of Top Gun: Maverick Amazon Prime Video Movie

 

I do not regret watching the Top Gun: Maverick movie on Amazon Prime video, including paying the hefty price to buy the film. I do not see myself rewatching the movie anytime soon; however, the movie is available should I change my mind.

 

I will leave it up to you to decide if you would like to watch the movie, Top Gun: Maverick. You may decide as I did that it is worth your time and money – especially if you watch all the action near the end of the movie.

Introduction to Zac Efron Gold Hulu Movie Review

 

The mantra for Zac Efron Hulu movie comes down to one word. The word is not “gold” even though the driving force of the actions of the main characters in the movie is the dream of acquiring gold. The magic word for the Zac Efron movie, Gold is “trust.”

 

If you watch the Hulu movie Gold, starring Zac Efron, you will know why I use “trust” instead of “gold” as the magic word.

 

However, I am getting ahead of myself. You may be curious if I enjoyed watching the Zac Efron Gold Hulu movie. Even more importantly, should you watch it?

Synopsis of Zac Efron Gold Hulu Movie

 

Zac Efron Gold Hulu film is a 2022 Australian movie starring Zac Efron as Virgil, a grungy, soiled-looking character being driven to a desert location. 

 

Specifically, Zac Efron’s character signed up to have a driver transport him to what is called the Compound. His driver (Anthony Hayes as Keith) is using a run-down looking truck with an engine that overheats if the air conditioner is turned on. For the most part, they are driving across a wide expanse of hot desert in a dilapidated truck without air conditioner.

 

If you watch the Zac Efron Gold Hulu film, you may get Mad Max movie vibes.This may be because most of the situations happen in the desert; however, the location and desert environments of the two movies are where the similarities end.

 

 

In addition to reminding you of the movie Mad Max because of the desert, Zac Efron Gold Hulu movie could also remind you of Tom Hanks' movie Cast Away. The reason being is the majority of the movie, you will watch Zac Efron as a one man show trying to survive the debilitating elements of the desert until the driver returns with the excavator. This is similar to Tom Hanks' Cast Away movie, where he was stranded on the beach with no one else around to keep him company except for his inanimate friend Wilson, the basketball.

 

The gist of the movie are two travelers, one a driver (Keith) and one a passenger (Virgil) making their way in a run-down looking truck traveling across the desert to get Zac Efron's character to his destination, which is The Compound.

 

However, due to a stop to repair the engine because Zac Efron's character despitefully turned the air conditioner on while the driver napped, the truck broke down.

 

Zac Efron's character wandered away from the truck, saw something shiny in a pile of sandy rocks which turned out to be genuine gold.

 

A Matter of Trust in Zac Efron Gold Hulu Movie

 

The two men tried numerous ways to try to unearth the large chunk of gold which was stuck in the sand and was too heavy to be pulled out by the truck.  

 

Anthony Hayes' character, Keith, the driver indicated that either he or Zac Efron’s character would have to stay to protect the gold from someone who may find the gold, or drive to a location that is about 5 days away to get an excavator truck which would be heavy duty enough to move the gold.

 

When Zac Efron’s character was asked to either stay with the gold or drive the truck 5 or more days to get an excavator, my first thought was he should, of course, stay with the gold. Reason being, Anthony Hayes' character is a stranger who may not be trustworthy enough to stay with the gold. 

 

For all Zac Efron’s character knew, Anthony Hayes' character could be resourceful, find a way to retrieve the gold and steal it for himself – especially when this character was already accustomed to the harsh environment of the desert. So to avoid the risk of having the gold stolen, Zac Efron’s character decided to stay with the gold in the dangerous, harsh desert.

 

 

 

The Decision to Go or Stay With the Gold in Zac Efron Gold Hulu Movie

 

As I alluded to above, Zac Efron’s character made the decision to stay in the harsh environment with the gold while Anthony Hayes' character left to get the excavator. In the meantime, they had a crude looking phone they used to communicate, so Zac Efron’s character would know the progress made to get an excavator for the gold.

 

Zac Efron Physical Appearance in the Gold Hulu Movie 

 

Personally, I thought Zac Efron’s appearance was very untidy when the movie started. He was wearing dirty clothing, had a muddy face with scars, and just looked like an unkempt character.

 

However, as the movie Zac Efron Gold Hulu storyline progressed, his appearance grew much worse. His changed appearance is probably understandable given he was trying to survive the desert with moderate water and rations, no permanent shelter from the desert elements, while at the same time fighting off wild dogs, scorpions and snakes.

 

In fact, due to the extreme heat of the desert and Zac Efron’s character being dehydrated and being exposed to the sun for long periods of time, his skin becomes scaly and patchy with flies and gnats flying around his face. I actually cringed when one of the flies landed on his dry parched lips. Gross.

 

Of course, the insects could have been put around ac Efron's face by Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI).  Even if that was the case, his face and overall appearance was a site for sore eyes – to say the least. 

 

 Was Zac Efron Performance in Gold Hulu Movie Award Winning?

 

Another movie the Zac Efron Gold Hulu film may remind you of is Leonardo DiCaprio’s role in the movie Revenant where he was alone in the wilderness and had to fight for survival including his infamous hand to hand combat with a bear. 

 

However, Leonardo DiCaprio won an Oscar for Best Actor due to his portrayal of surviving the wllderness.  

 

By contrast, Zac Efron, will probably not win an award for his performance in the Gold Hulu movie even though he was covered in gruesome looking makeup to show that the conditions his character suffered was probably unsurvivable.

 

Top 3 Reasons Zac Efron Gold Hulu Movie will not Receive any Awards

 

 –Zac Efron’s character gave up at least two opportunities to escape the desert and chose instead to stay to protect the gold.These events occurred one, when a lone truck traveled close to where he was camping in the hot desert sun and two, his meet-up with another person who was in the desert who appeared to be suspicious, but with the will to survive, I’m sure he could have made a deal with her to help him leave the desert.

 

      

–Zac Efron’s character blindly trusted a stranger to leave him in the desert, drive 5 or more days to get an excavator, and return for him – so they could split the gold. The trust was just not there between the two characters who were strangers.

  

      

–Even though Zac Efron’s face was sometimes caked in sand, scaly pimples, etc. his facial expressions did not show that he was really suffering in the desert.

 

 

Maybe he thought the gruesome make-up was enough. But when an actor is basically in a one-man movie, the film becomes a framework to shocwase his or her acting talent, including showings the emotions of anger, fright, deep excrutiating pain, or even to act overjoyed when you discover gold. Zac Efron for the most part walked through this film and did not show any outstanding acting skills.

 

Assessment of Zac Efron Gold Hulu Movie

 

 

Because of the poor quality  of Zac Efron's acting skills in the Gold Hulu movie, my rating will be low. 

 

 

That being said, his savings grace is having to endure wearing all the caked-on make-up to make it seem as if his skin is scorching in the desert heat, enduring flies and gnats and other insects swarming around his face, and last but not last, taking a starring role in the movie, knowing probably from reading the script what happens to your character in the end. Due to these actions from the star of the movie, Zac Efron the Hulu movie Gold will earn 1 additional rating star.

 

 

You may choose to watch Zac Efron Gold Hulu movie, if you are a fan of Mad Max, The Cast Away, or The Revenant -- which are similar-type movies. You may also decide to watch the movie, just as I did to see how Zac Efron's character survives alone in the dry, hot desert.

  

In my opinion, the main takeaways from the Zac Efron Gold Hulu movie are the lessons learned mantras as follow: 

 

 

–Be careful who you trust

–If your gut tells you something, listen to and abide by it.

–Last but not least, gold is nice to have and own – but not if you are risking your life to do so.

Introduction to Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix Movie Review

 

Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix movie is a 2022 buddy comedy film that may be worth your time to check out. For the most part, the film to me was predictable from start to finish - with one exception dealing with a singing guest who makes an appearance. However there were a few noteworthy parts in the Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix movie.

Synopsis of Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix Movie

 

The title of the movie is self-explanatory, meaning Kevin Hart plays the role of a stay-at-home father (Sonny Fisher) whose wife, Regina Hall as Maya Fisher convinces Kevin Hart’s character to have some me time for himself. 

 

The film shows where he is with his son and daughter daily, helping them get ready for their day, including drilling his son to practice the keyboard for an upcoming school talent show. In the meantime, his wife is the breadwinner, working as an architect who spends less time with their children.

 

Initially, Kevin Hart’s character declined an invitation to join Mark Wahlberg's character (Huck Dembo) to celebrate his 44th birthday bash. The two have been friends for a long time; however, currently their lives have taken different turns.

 

Kevin Hart is now a married father of two with a wife, while Mark Wahlberg’s character is a bachelor who seems to go to extreme lengths to have a good time which include spending lots of money. This is the type of fun Kevn Hart’s character steers away from since he is now married and have family responsiblities.

 

However, after some reflection from himself internally and persuasion from his wife externally, Kevin Hart’s character decides to attend Mark Wahlberg’s birthday celebration -- while his wife takes a break from her job as an architect to take their  two children to their grandparents’ home.

 

Comedy Methods Used in  Kevin Hart Me TIme Netflix Movie

 

Kevin Hart begins the movie by demonstrating slap-stick type comedy which seems dated and to me, was not funny, such as falling, slipping, etc.

 

His character also uses the comedic element of bodily functions shown in gross ways. This method seemed childish and in my opinion was more appalling instead of funny.

 

I believe that Kevn Hart and other comedy type actors need to knowthat movie scripts do not need to have lines that show cringing bodily functions, noises, etc. in the story to be comedic. 

 

Predictability of Kevin Hart Me TIme Netflix Movie

 

For the most part, you will probably figure out that when Kevin Hart has his me time, he will go overboard to the point of getting in trouble with his family.

 

On the plus side, Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix movie has a surprise singing guest in the film, which I will not divulge here. Other than that, there are no other surprises in the movie except maybe the story of the woman who is the school's crossing guard.

 

Realism of Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix Movie

 

As a comedy movie, realism is not a big attribute of Kevin Hart Me TIme Netflix movie. However, it seemed unlikely that someone would simply give even his best friend such a large amount of money not to be paid back as was done during the Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix movie. There may be a loan involved, but I’m sure in all likelihood there would not be such a big money gift with no expectation to be repaid.

 

Regarding realism in casting, -- the loan shark, in my opinion, (Jimmy O Yang as Sam Berman) did not seem to be a threatening figure. To cut to the chase, someone else more menacing-looking should have been cast in his place.

 

On the other hand, Jimmy O Yang’s female accomplice was realistic in her role, until later during the party, she changed her personna and became star-struck with the surprise musical guest. Her role would have been believable if she stayed in character as a threat to Mark Wahlberg’s character for nonpayment of his debt.

 

As for Kevn Hart’s acting talent, he basically plays the same comedic characters that he has in some of his other movies such as The Man From Toronto, Night School and many others.

 

Mark Wahberg’s Changing Appearance in Kevin Hart Me TIme Netflix Movie

 

Mark Wahlberg has a big part in the Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix movie, from the beginning, middle, and end of the film. Towards the end of the movie, you may notice as I did that Mark Wahlberg’s physical appearance is not as athletic as when the movie started.  

 

I checked and I found out that Mark Wahlberg lost a lot of weight due to another movie he was working on during this time, namely Father Stu.  

 

Lessons Learned from Kevin Hart Me TIme Netflix Movie

 

There are a few common-sense type lessons to be reminded of from the Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix movie.  Some include:

 

-Be true to yourself

-Do not coerce someone, even your relative to do something that he or she really does not want to do

-Remain adults even during celebrations and set good examples as role models

-Looks can be deceiving, for example Mark Wahlberg’s character seemed to be having the time of his life, when in movie reality he is out of a job, an over-spender of money he does not have, etc.

-Stay comfortable in your own skin and if you go outside of your comfort zones, do so as not to harm yourself and others.

 

There may be other lessons, but I will stop here.

 

Assessment of Kevin Hart Me TIme Netflix Movie

 

Overall, I found the Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix movie to be entertaining.There were no laugh out moments for me but it was still, in my opinion, worth watching.

 

If you have 101 minutes to spare – which is the length of this movie, you may want to check out Kevin Hart Me Time Netflix film. 

 

As I alluded to before, there are some gross scenes and actions in Kevin Hart Me TIme Netflix movie – but you can  ignore these parts and chalk it up to immaturity on the part of the writers trying to find something that they thought would be comical to the audience – which it was not.

Introduction to She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus Series - Episode 1 Review

 

I watched the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series - episode 1 recently. My opinion is the She-Hulk series, episode 1 is light-hearted with some drama and sparse action added. In other words, the firstt episode of the She-Hulk series is not gritty or hard-hitting.

 

The above being said, did the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series - episode 1's positives outweigh the negatives?  

 

Most importantly, should you watch the Disney Plus series - episode 1 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law?

Synopsis of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus Series - Episode 1

 

The  first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus shows how She-Hulk turns into a superhero. The series starts with Tatiana Maslany's character, who plays She-Hulk -- as a lawyer rehearsing closing arguments in front of her co-workers. 

 

This particular scene ends with Tatiana Maslany's character looking into the carmera, talking directly to the audience, and indicating that she is She-Hulk. Next, flashback scenes show what transpires for lawyer Jenmifer Walters to transform to She-Hulk.

 

In a nutshell, Tatiana Maslany’s character (lawyer Jennifer Walters) and her cousin, the Hulk, are on a road trip when out of nowhere, their vehicle is struck by a spaceship. The car crashes, rolls over a few times and ultimately leaves the Hulk pinned inside. Tatiana Maslany’s character removes Hulk’s seatbelt and the Hulk falls out of the car.

 

When Tatiana Maslany’s character’s rescues her cousin, the Hulk from the crashed vehicle, she inadvertently receives blood from the Hulk 's wounds. It is at this moment that Tatiana Maslany’s character gains the ability to change into She-Hulk.

 

The scene cuts to Tatiana Maslany's character lying in a forest, before she proceeds to walk to a nearby bar where she's given a make-over by women she met in the ladies restroom.

 

As she leaves the building, Tatiana Maslany's character is approached by cat-calling men. She grew angry, and in that instance became She-Hulk. 

 

Positives of the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law - Disney Plus Series - Episode 1

 

--In episode 1 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law - Disney Plus series, She-Hulk shows a sunny personality and disposition which in my opinion, give the series a lighthearted atmosphere.

 

--A female superhero, She-Hulk finally enters the crowded universe of males, even though in my opinion, she did not make a splashy, or an exciting entrance.

 

--She-Hulk has a law career which may inspire females and males to enter the legal profession if they wish to do so.

 

Negatives of the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus Series - Episode 1

 

--There are disjointed events in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series - episode 1 especially at the beginning of the series. First of all, the series does not show how she ended up in the forest without the Hulk, and second there was no indication why the Hulk would leave her in the forest and third, the storyline did not show how she got back to the Hulk’s dwelling from the bar.

 

In other words, viewers, including myself, may be unclear of the setting of the film due to switching of environments without proper transitioning. 

 

--I think it was unnecessary for She-Hulk to go to the bar after the accident, unless the storyline wanted to show when Tatiana Maslany’s character first changed to She-Hulk. To me, this scene could have been omitted and the story could have moved from the crash to her staying at the Hulk’s habitat instead.

 

--There are Inconsistencies in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series - episode 1. 

For example, it looks like the Hulk, remains the Hulk, even when he is not angry. I believe this is one of the reasons he is calm most of the time without  becoming Bruce Banner. However, in the series, She-Hulk calls the Hulk Bruce. This also could be the case since he is "Smart Hulk."

 

--To me, it was out of character for the Hulk to teach She-Hulk yoga due to his personna of having rage when in the Hulk form. Again, Maybe because he is now Smart Hulk, this is no longer the case. However, the yoga training still seemed out of place.

 

--Another out of place event was the fight between cousins (Hulk and She-Hulk) which really had no basis. She simply wanted to leave to go back to her old life, which Hulk had no power or authority to prevent. The good news is that after the fight, Hulk realizes he was wrong to try to stop Tatiana Maslanys character from going back to being a lawyer. 

 

--During the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series, episode 1, Tatiana Maslany's character talks directly to the audience which to me is intrusive to the story. Check out my comments about this method of communicating to the audiences that was also used in the Dakota Johnson's Persuasion movie I reviewed a while back.

 

 

 

Assessment of the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus Series - Episode 1

 

There is the possibility that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series will become better and more entertaining to watch as more episodes become available.

 

However, since I watched episode 1 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series, I think more work needs to be done to make She-Hulk believable as a superhero than having her appear as She-Hulk in front of a group of cat-calling men; fighting with her cousin, the Hulk and last but not least, battling against an unknown costumed assailant who burst in the courtroom during Tatiana Maslany’s character's appearance as a lawyer in court.

 

To answer the question of if the positives outweigh the negatives in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series, episode 1 -- the negatives slightly outweigh the positives, but overall this episode seems to be fine to watch. 

 

The above being said, I think it is admirable that female superheroes such as She-Hulk are getting visibility and recognition. As Lizzo says in her song, paraphrased, “It’s about time.”

They say that slow and steady win the race. Regarding the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series, episode 2, I’m not sure if this is always true. In my opinion, Episode 2 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law seemed to drag on - which was not a winner for me. This was also the case for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, episode 1.

 

But I digress. You may be curious if I enjoyed watching She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series episode 2.  Was there anything exciting happening?

Synopsis of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus Series - Episode 2

 

Episode 2 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law series stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk) finding out that she is no longer employed due to her courtroom antics that happened during the first episode.  

 

Tatiana Maslany’s character tries to keep her firing a secret, but to no avail. She laments for a short while about being unemployed, but soon finds out she is being hired by a competing law firm.

 

The hiring stipulation is that Tatiana Maslany’s character has to work as She-Hulk. On the flip side, Tatiana Maslany’s character has a requirement that her paralegal had to be hired with her. Both conditions are met and she reports to work at the law firm as She-Hulk.

 

She-Hulk’s first case in her new job is to represent a criminal called Abomination. She initially objects because Abomination harmed her cousin the Hulk in the past. When she visits Abomination in prison, he explains exactly what happened. As a result, and after a telephone conversation with the Hulk, Tatiana Maslany’s character changes her mind and decides to represent Abomination in court.

 

By the way, her new job is being head of the recently established Superhuman division of the law firm.

 

Positives of the She-Hulk Attorney at Law Disney Plus Series - Episode 2

 

–A positive is each episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is short, usually lasting less than 35 minutes. 

 

–The audience meets the rest of Tatiana Maslany's character’s family so you and I are not left in the dark about her family background.

 

–If you are a Hulk fan - Smart Hulk appears briefly in the series, episode 2 talking to Tatiana Maslany’s character about taking the Abomination case.

 

–To me, She-Hulk sets a good example while unemployed by looking for another job right away instead of slacking and feeling sorry for herself. I think this is an excellent example to set for someone who may be out of a job or between jobs. 

 

The posituve saying for this action is if you get pushed down, the important thing to do is to get right back up.

 

 

Negatives of the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus Series - Episode 2

 

—Tatiana Maslany’s character continues to talk to the audience directly by looking into the camera. I was optimistic that this method of talking to the camera had stopped because it took a while before she turned to the camera and spoke. In this particular episode, she talked not once, but twice to the camera – which to me was distracting to the storyline.

 

–In superhero movies, audiences probably expect to see at least one action scene with the superhero showing off his or her talents. Alas! There is not one single action scene in episode 2 involving the superhero She-Hulk.

 

–It’s not clear how Tatiana Maslany’s character turns into She-Hulk. At one minute the audience sees her as Jennifer Walters, the lawyer, and in the next she is She-Hulk with no explanation as to how she does this transformation.

 

–I believe it is highly unrealistic for a firm to hire someone on the condition that someone else of his or her choosing is hired along with that person as well.

 

For example, to keep Ginger Gonzaga character as paralegal Nikki Ramos in the series, the writer decided to have Tatiana Maslany's character give the hiring official the ultimatum that if Ginger Gonzaga’s character is not hired – then she would not take the job.

 

–In one scene, the audience sees Tatiana Maslany’s character without shoes and an office outfit, and in the next she has a change of clothes and is also wearing shoes -- with no transitioning.

 

–As I alluded to earlier, the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus Series, episode 2 has non-existent action and the story just drags along which in many cases will lead to boredom.

 

Assessment of the She-Hulk: Attorney of Law Disney Plus Series - Episode 2

 

In my opinion, the second episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law lacks excitement, suspense and even drama. There are some comedic scenes thrown in, which to me did not add much to increase my enjoyment level of the series.

 

It looks like the writer is stretching this series out by adding minor details about She-Hulk rather than crafting a superhero story with heroes and villains. I’m of the mindset that if this was a Hulk movie, there would be lots more action, suspense, chases, etc. to keep the interest level in the series high,

 

Of course, this slow rollout of She-Hulk could change as more episodes become available to watch.

 

My recommendation is for the writer to treat writing for She-Hulk in the same high quality caliber as if the series is about the Hulk or some other male superhero.

 

The positives and negatives of this series are neck to neck. However, from my purview, the negatives squeezed past the positives.

 

With the above beng said, I recommend you watch She:Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series, episode 2 just as I did. Once the series starts, before you know it the particular episode you are watching will be over -- which is a plus.
