Wii price drops to $129.99

Nintendo has announced that the Wii video game system bundle price will decrease to $129.99 before the holiday shopping season.  Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort video games will be included in the $129.99 price.

This price drop is for the existing Wii video game console system and is not applicable to the Wii U.

Wii Sports Video Game

In addition to the two free games, you will also receive the Wii Remote Plus, and a Nunchuk controller in black to match the black Wii system. 

Wii Sports Resort Video Game

Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort video games include a wide variety of games that use the motion controller in unique ways and helped pioneer the industry move towards motion controlled games.

Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America Executive Vice President  of Sales and Marketing states, "Nearly six years after its launch, people are still attracted to the inclusive fun of the Wiii console."

The dscounted Wii video game bundle is expected to arrive in U.S. stores by October 28, 2012.

The Amazing Spider-man

The Nintendo WII U will not be at a loss for video games after it launches on November 18, 2012.  The latest game that will be available for play on the new game system is The Amazing Spider-man.  The Amazing Spider- man  is already out for the other video game systems,  having been released back in June of 2012. The video game for the WII U will use motion control as its foundation.

The Amazing Spider-man video game will come to the WII U with all of its downloadable content (DLC) intact.

The DLC that will be featured includes Rhino's Challenge Pack,  the Oscorp Search and Destroy Pack, the Lizard Rampage Pack and  the Stan Lee Adventure Pack.

Activision's The Amazing Spider-man for the WII U will launch in Spring 2013.  As of this printing, an official release date has not been reported.

Xbox 360 Music Service

Microsoft is launching a new music service on the Xbox 360 that will compete with Apple's itunes and Amazon's Cloud Player. Xbox Music will replace Microsoft's Zune that launched in 2010 and struggled against Apple itunes.

Since more than 67 million Xbox 360 consoles have sold starting in 2005, Microsoft has attempted to make your living room your entertainment center.  Now with the launch of the music service, Microsoft continues with its goal.   The new  Xbox music service will offer free streaming from a central music catalogue to the Xbox 360 consoles.   The music service also will be available  on Microsoft PCs,  tablets and mobile phones after Windows 8 launches at the end of October, 2012.

The music service will allow you to access songs offline by using an Xbox 360 music pass.  The music pass will cost $9.99,  will be free from advertising and will let you  play any track from a subscription service unlimited times. You may also buy songs from an "Xbox 360 Music Store"  from a selection of about 30 million songs.  Apple itunes currently has about 20 million songs.

Microsoft plans to go a step further and add cloud storage within the next year where you can add  tracks brought from other services  to your personal Xbox cloud catalogue.

WWE 13

The much anticipated THQ's WWE 13 video game release date is October 30, 2012 for North America and November 2, 2012 for the United Kingdom.  In this latest installment of the WWE franchise, you can expect lots of changes from the previous version. Some of the changes include a stacked roster of stars such as The Godfather,  Val Venis and Gangrel as well as the standing characters, Shawn Michaels, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and The Rock; an advanced create-an-arena customization feature as well as the ability to create live spectacular moments and catching finishes.

Other changes include lots of branching storylines, several Downloadable  Content after the game's release  to include WWE characters such as Tensai, Ryback, Natalyer and more.  The special referee mode has also returned.

The game focuses on the Attitude Era of WWE, replacing the Road to Wrestlemania mode.

A special Collector's Edition WWE video game will also be available with an abundant of extras such as special packaging,  a card autographed by Steve Austin, a special Steve Austin T-shirt attire,  and the third disc of the Steve Austin's DVD, "Stone Cold Steve Austin: The Bottom Line of the Most Popular Superstar of All Time."  Additionally Mike Tyson will appear as a playable character in the video game.

WWE 13 will be playable on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the Wii.
