Professional, trendsetting drummer icon, Viola Smith,  who was  active as a drummer when the men were off to war in the 1940's is featured as the celebrity video gamer of the week.  Ms. H ties Viola Smith's to video games by discussing a video game that features the musical Cabaret -- which Viola Smith played on Broadway in her earlier years.  A lively discussion followed where interesting enough the gamer gate controversy is humorously called the girl bands gate since during that time, girl bands were not taken seriously.  Ms. H discusses how times have changed, and currently there are many girl bands, who are not only taken seriously, but who produce excellent music for stars such as Beyonce and others.  Ms. H's renewal of her Xbox Live membership leads her to discuss where she went to get her Xbox Live card -- Best Buy as the video game field trip.  In addition to sharing her conversation with the sales clerk video gamer at Best Buy, Ms. H informs everyone that the game being advertised was Mortal Kombat X, which Ms. H is not a fan of.  Ms. H discusses the new video game releases.  Ways to save money on video games were shared by one of Ms. H video game callers.  Lego Dimensions characters as well as news of the Apple  iWatch and other tech tops the news.  Ms. H rounds out the Mom's Minute Video Game Show with her special original saying to work harder as well as smarter and success is yours to enjoy.
