Happy Thanksgiving!  Mom's Minute Video Game Show 's 175th episode gets off to a fun start with interesting comments from her listeners, which Ms. H gladly entertained.  After welcoming every one and wishing all a Happy pre-Thanksgiving and pre-Black Friday Sale Day, Ms. H discusses the video game, Battle Islands, a free game that she played on her Xbox One.  Lively discussion was held on Star Wars including the original intent of the blockbuster movie saga.  Ms. H made the point that regardless of the direction the Star Wars saga is headed, she believes that both Disney and George Lucas has the fans' interest in mind even if Disney made the focus more on battles than family relationships as George Lucas intended. Disney currently owns Lucas Films and George Lucas does not have a say in the direction the Star Wars movie franchise is going, even though he recently talked about how he originally perceived Star Wars to be more of a family story, almost like a soap opera.  Ms. H features the colonial women from the Mayflower ship that landed at Cape Cod, Massachusetts in the 17th century.   She discussed specific women by name and talked about their plight during those times.  She also discussed the video game,  Betrayed as the video game tie-in for the video game characters. This  Steam video game features a colonial femaie character known as Maiden in Red.  Interesting dialogue followed on comic book characters including the Joker and others. Ms. H shared some of the television shows she watches and told everyone to check out her review of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 at http://www.allgames.com.  The http://www.allgames.com video game contest was discussed when Ms. H welcomed her caller to the Mom's Minute Video Game Show.  She thanked him for calling and encouraged others to call to talk to her regarding video game topics, thereby having instant give-and-take conversations instead of written comments -- even though Ms. H is glad to receive those as well.  Ms. H discusses the celebrity video gamer, Jennifer Lawrence who stars in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 movie.  Black Friday sales are discussed with Ms. H stating she went to two retail establishments  to find out if there were any signs, etc. on the upcoming Black Friday sales. Topping the news was Ms. H's discussion of her trips to several midnight openings for the Star Wars Battlefront video game including the topic of whether these type openings were on the wane.  Ms. H rounds out the show with her special original Thanksgiving saying to be positive always and that  it's all about giving thanks and being proud of who you are.
