What's almost better than attending a Star Trek convention where everyone is dressed up as their favorite Star Trek character? How about a Star Trek video game as a close second?
Star Trek video game, developed by Digital Exremes and published by Namco Bandai Games and Paramount Digital Entertainment has a release date of early 2013, with no specific release date given at press time.

The actions of this video game will occur when Captain Kirk and Dr. Spock are friends. You will see different insights from these characters that you have not seen before. The video game's plot will involve Captain Kirk an Dr. Spock going on lots of adventures together.

According to Executive Producer and screen writer, Roberto Orci, the game is developed in a way that it could be a movie on its own. In fact, some of the characters appearing in the video game will also be in the movie. The Star Trek movie is due out May, 2013.
The Star Trek video game will be playable on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC.
