Introduction to RRR Netflix Movie Review

 

When the RRR Netflix movie starts, a disclaimer displays that states to the effect that none of the animals in this film were harmed. After watching the movie RRR, it is no wonder the disclaimer did not include humans as well as the animals. You will know what I'm talking about if you watch the Netflix movie RRR. However, I digress.

 

 If you have not heard of  the film RRR – it is a high-action Indian movie now streaming for free on Netflix.

Synopsis of RRR Netflix Movie

 

The RRR Netflix movie is an Indian film with subtitles that centers around the conflict between the Indian and English people (mostly military) who seemed to constantly degrade the Indians not only verbally but physically as well.  

 

Additionally, the storyline involves the sometimes volatile relationship - friendship between the two main characters Alluri Sitarama Raju played by Ram Charan and Komaram Bheem played by N.T. Rama Rao Jr.

 

The drama in the RRR Netflix movie deals with N.T. Rama Rao Jr.’s character attempts to rescue a young Indian girl who was kidnapped and separated from her mother by the English. As the RRR Netflix movie progresses, other heroic-type rescue missions also take place. 

 

 

Action Scenes in RRR Netflix Movie

 

There are plenty of action scenes in the RRR Netflix movie that may keep your interest. Specific action scenes include foot chases, motorcycle chases, explosions, fist fights, archery fights, and other battles and altercations that serve to keep the action non-stop.

 

That being said, I believe the writers of the RRR Netflix movie did a good job of keeping the rescue storyline going while at the same time leaning heavily on the depiction of all the action scenes.

 

If you watch the RRR Netflix movie, hopefully you will not become skirmish about some of the violence shown. Just remember and keep in the back of your mind that even with an overload of violence, at the end of the day, RRR is only a movie. As a side note, RRR Netflix movie is rated PG-13 so anyone 13 years or older can watch it.

 

By the way for a change in pace, there are musical dance scenes in the RRR Netflix movie that you may enjoy watching. 

 

 

Inconsistencies in RRR Netflix movie

 

As you watch the events unfold in the RRR Netflix movie, you probably will be puzzled how some of the characters showed up at the right place at the right time. I equate this timing to movie magic.

 

Additionally during one of the scenes, N.T. Rama Rao Jr.’s character searched for his friend in a prison yard where there were solitary underground enclosures. It was interesting to me that there were no guards around this area so he had time to crawl on the ground and search for his friend who he was trying to save.  

 

Also, sometimes actors appeared to be seriously injured in one instance and in the next they seemed to have healed rather quickly.  Again, I equate this to movie magic. 

 

In my opinion, these movie magic moments did not affect the enjoyment level of the Netflix movie RRR.

 

Length of RRR Netflix Movie

 

 

The RRR Netflix movie is rather long, lasting three hours and seven minutes. If you decide to watch the RRR Netflix movie, you may do so in one sitting, or you may do as I did and look at snippets of the movie, leave, do other things and then return to watch the rest of the movie.

 

 

However, with the interesting storyline and abundance of action scenes in the Netflix RRR movie, regardless of how you watch it, the time may seem to fly by.

 

 

Assessment of RRR Netflix Movie

 

 

As I alluded to previously, there are plenty of action scenes, acrobats, stunts, explosions, chases  etc. in the RRR Netflix movie. However, I believe there was adequate drama time between these scenes to allow you to grasp what the movie was about.

 

If you enjoy watching high action movies with some drama thrown in, my response to the question of if you should watch the RRR Netflix movie is a definite “Yes.”
