Mom's Minute 5-11-2015

  • Monday, 11 May 2015
Lots of firsts fun on this special 147th edition of the popular Mom's Minute Video Game Show.  It's all about the listeners as Ms. H for the first time welcomed -- not one, but multiple call in listeners who not only voiced their opinions on various trend-setting topics, but collobaratively and in a light-hearted way agreed to disagree on some topics; even meeting in the middle on other topics of interest.  Ms. H's callers were in addition to having the creator  and producer participation and input on the show.  Ms. H informed everyone of her visit to and reporting on the Digital Media Wire L.A. Games Conference in L.A., CA and asked her listeners to check out her coverage of this high calibre video gaming event on http://www.allgames.com  as well as  her review of the upcoming virtual reality video game, Project Nourished, also on http://allgames.com.  Ms. H discusses the video game she played on her PlayStation 4, Never Alone which is free to PS Plus members.  Ms. H voices her wish for the video game industry to feature more strong female video game characters. She discusses the video game character of the week, Sheva Alomar from the 2009 video game Resident Evil 5 with comments that hopefully this character will  appear in more of the Resident Evil video games.  Angelina Jolie is featured as the celebrity video gamer due to her portrayal of  action-oriented characters, and also because she played Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movie.  Ms. H talks about her video game field trip to Hobby Lobby and entertained comments on the controversial stance this company took on several topics.  Ms. H is overjoyed  to welcome her call in listeners who discussed such topics as the remakes of some movies and whether the newer movies are better  maybe due to technology advances.   Discussion moved to video games on watches including the Apple  iwatch and android phones.  Lively discussions followed not only on if a business is a person, but  turned to a conversational review of the latest Avengers movie,  Avengers:  Age of Ultron.  A spirited debate followed with the opinions of another Mom's Minute Video Game Show listener regarding the actions of the Hulk and Black Widow in the movie.  Ms. H discusses ways to get Hulk angry without the use of violence which was used during the movie when the Hulk's massive strength was required.  The debate added to the fun of the show as Ms. H listened and discussed one on one opinions of her listeners, a first for the show which Ms. H hopes to have many more in the future.  Ms. H discusses new video game releases and she rounds out the Mom's Minute Video Game Show with her special original saying that having self-belief and a can do attitude will not only lead you to success, but will keep you there always.
